New year and New adventures with Nights Under Canvas!

Is it really 2022 already? Amazing how quick last year flew by isn’t it?

But here we are - a fresh start, all shiny and new! And we hope, like us here at Nights Under Canvas, you have topped your new year’s resolution list by making sure you have some amazing adventures in wonderful South West Wales.

So how about some ideas for making sure you tick off those new year’s goals?

  • Go on safari… well ok, it might not be safari in the strictest sense of the word, but in glorious West Wales we have so many experiences to view the natural wildlife like the seals all around the coast of Pembrokeshire, the puffins at Skomer and if we’re really lucky, a return visit from Wally the Walrus who spent last summer living in the waters off Tenby!
  • Take a hike (or even a bike!) - we have miles of the Wales Coast Path for you to explore with epic views across the beautiful coastline and a bird’s eye view of the local wildlife. Or if you don’t fancy walking, let the pedals do the work and get on your bike along the amazing cycle paths that crisscross the area.
  • Jump off a cliff… safely of course with a fantastic day out coasteering which involves exploring the West Wales coastline by swimming, rock climbing and cliff jumping. This one is definitely for the thrill seekers and we can absolutely recommend loads of activity providers who can guide you safely in your adventures.
  • Sail a boat… see some of the most amazing stretches of coastline where you can voyage on a leisurely cruise or opt for a high speed rib boat ride run by one of several local firms. There are tonnes of boating experiences to choose from from fishing trips to kayaking and even chartering your own vessel.
  • Walk on water… kind of anyway. Take a trip to the Bosherston lily ponds and walk the causeways over the lakes spotting the otters and kingfishers before heading to the beautiful beach. The kids will love it! Or you could even have a go at paddle boarding on the sea, rivers, lakes or reservoirs in the area - it’s great fun which everyone can enjoy. (And for those of you who don’t know what paddle boarding is - it’s basically standing up on a flat board - a bit like a surfboard but bigger and more stable - and using a paddle to move along the water. Trust us, it is immense fun!).
  • Sunbathe in paradise… the beaches in South West Wales are among the best in the world and most will be within a 20 minute drive of wherever you are in the area. Our favourites are Barafundle Bay (Pembrokeshire), Pendine (Carmarthenshire), Poppit Sands (Ceredigion) and Rhossili (Gower) but to be honest there are so many to choose from that you could literally take your pick.

But hang on… we have forgotten the ultimate adventure you need to have this year - a holiday with Nights Under Canvas of course! (How could we possibly forget?!)

And the best bit about this adventure is that it’s easy to do - all you need to do is book your campsite, choose your bell tent package, and we do the rest.

We have the most stunning bell tent glamping holiday packages for you to choose from.

There’s our fully furnished ‘Go Glamping’ bell tent - everything is included from airbeds and pillows with fresh linen, warm rugs, lighting, and everything you need for preparing your meals including a cooking stove, cooler box and even the knives and forks.
